Photoshop Transformation Project
For my photo transformation project I used a photo of one of my closest friends in front of the entrance in front of our school. I loved the way the collage looks like a sky so I decided to make her into a bird flying up towards it with a beautiful sunset behind her. A lot of the colors were off so some editing was required so that it would all look as one image all together. Overall there was no real concept that made me create this I just liked the idea and the way it would end up looking.

Shape to Symbol!
Reflection: I had an incredibly fun, but also stressful time creating this! One of the most frustrating aspects was getting to know the program and learning new features. I'm pretty new to photoshop and have never used it before, so using it to create this was at times confusing. Through the procress of making it I also had to make sure my symbol was clear. I used the bright fun colors to contrast with the black and white (I notice i did that with my letter project as well). In case you didn't get it yet, my symbol was to represeny party! The tool that I used the most was the add a selection tool. For each layer I needed small changes in order to make it look like a smooth transition. The selection took was very helpful for my project to look neat. I wish i had used the perspective tool though. So far my project is two dimmensional but maybe exploring with three dimmensional tools I can improve the quality of my projects. Moving on, I was especially afraid of messing up, and having to start over. However I did enjoy the process of making it. It's interesting to see how your artwork comes to life and changes with small details. It definitely made me intruiged by animated movies and how much work they must put into getting everything right. I want to try to create an amination that's a little bit long because although it would be tedious work I could put my skills to the test. Overall I had fun getting to know the different tools and I hope to indulge more into the world of Photoshop!

Hello everyone! The GIF above is one I made for my graphic design class. But, it is also a PSA for Millennium High School students to support the team. I joined the team in my sophomore year and I am extremely glad I did. Not only have I been getting a lot of physical exercise but I've made so many great friends with the girls on the team. It's truly an amazing experience. Special thanks to Coach Simms for helping us improve our times and turning us into mermaids! :D We've won three meets so far this season and we're aiming for more! Go Phoenix Swimmers!

Amazing graphic designers!
Jessica Walsh
This graphic designer really caught my eye, plainly because her artwork is so very enjoyable to look at. It is interesting, clean, and colorful. Most of her designs also have a lot of meaning behind them, which goes with what graphic design is: enjoyable and meaningful. She uses a lot of realism.
This graphic design movement is so important because so much of today’s modern graphic design is intertwined with realism. Especially since the invention of photography it is so much easier to achieve realism in designs. With the advancements of computer software and animation, there is a lot of realism in modern day society. It makes everything so much more fun to look at and interpret. Jessica also uses Surrealism. This graphic design movement is the mixture of the real and the
unreal which brings surrealism. It is so very creative and interesting because there are so many possibilities of the designs that can be made. These can be made with animation, drawing, photography. But this one does not use much text.

Good Graphic Design
I saw this in a store as a birthday card or something. It's really creative and cute! I think that's what the creator was hoping for!

Letter Design Project
This is my letter design project! Creating it was hard and easy at the same time. It was relaxing because each small black pattern was unique and also brain racking. At times I had no idea what to draw. Most of the project was very repetative. I started out by picking my letter and one of the my favorite letters is w. The reasoning behind this is that it can be drawn in so many different ways. to show this theme I drew representations of the letter in the organic shapes. If I were to do this project again I would challenge myself to create the whole letter out of representations of that letter.

First Post!
Hello and welcome to my blog! I enjoy swimming, singing and biking for fun. I also love listening to music, and my favorite genres are alternative, soft rock, and rap. I'll be using this blog to show things I enjoy and my favorite pieces of art. I absolutely love abstract art. For my first post I would like to show you a piece I created very long ago! I found it while scavenging my 7th grade sketchbook.
